This week's One-Layer Wednesday Challenge (OWL 78) is to make a one-layer card using MORE THAN FIVE circles on your card. This was a real challenge for me! Lost, I decided to clean off my work table, thinking I might find some clarity in a clean work area. And there it was, a small pile of stamps I had set aside to use in January. You know, those cute little snowmen, and Wintery themed stamps you don't use during Christmas, that are just perfect for a cold and snowy January day. It's now almost the middle of February and we still haven't had a Winter, but look at this snowflake border stamp from Hero Arts I used below. Look at all those circles and dots! Maybe now we'll get some snow.....
Just to show you what a warm Winter we've had, look at my daffodils. They're in bloom a month early.
Supplies:
Stamps: Hero Arts- Snowflake Border & Memory Box-Sentiment
Ink: Palette Snow
Paper: Kraft
Accessories: Bling
Happy Stamping...
Great use of circles! I can't believe you actually WANT snow -- no thanks :)
ReplyDeleteI love the white ink on kraft. Stunning.
ReplyDeleteHI There Cheryl, Wonderful card, perfect on kraft and I love the clean and simple design, great idea! xxx
ReplyDeleteLOVE this--we've got snow on the way after months of 60* weather and I'm not looking forward to it. Would much rather have daffodils! ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful one layer card Cheryl.
ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl,
ReplyDeleteI can't believe your daffodils are in bloom already. I checked over the weekend to see if mine were peeking out of the dirt yet, but they are not. Great card for the challenge. I'm ok with no snow now.
I know what you mean about no snow to speak of this winter! Love your snow circles.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute clean and simple card. Love the flowers. None here yet. :(
ReplyDeleteSuper cute card! I was thinking, yeah, no winter here either... checked your profile to see where you were from... and I'm in ATL as well! LOL!
