Happy New Year Everyone!
How do you define the things you want to accomplish? Are they resolutions or goals?
If you're like me the New Year is a time for planning and organization, or maybe that should be reorganization. Whether you prefer to define these as resolutions or goals, I believe the process is the same. It's really all about planning, commitment, and action.
As part of the commitment process, I believe you have to talk about them. Put them out there. With that said, my stamping/scrapbooking goals for this year are:
1. Start scrapbooking again
Specifically, I want to get my oldest daughter's high school scrapbook caught up. She is a junior this year. My second scrapbook goal is to complete our 2011 Summer Trip. We drove across the country (with two teenagers).
2. Blog more
3. Purge the supplies I don't use
4. Reorganize my ribbon stash
5. Try out for a design team
6. Submit work for publication
7. Practice coloring more with my Copics
In the next few days I plan to post a few tips about how to achieve your goals. I hope you'll stop by again. Oh, and I almost forgot, I have a few Valentine's Day projects to post too!
If you haven't already set your goals for the new year, it's not too late!
What a great List.. Wishing you good Luck with everything and can't wait to hear your goals coming true :)
ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl,
ReplyDeleteWelcome to our blog group! I like your list of resolutions/goals. I officially didn't write any down this year, but they are still in the back of my mind. I look forward to seeing your Valentine's Day projects.
Hi! Wow! Most of those are on my list also!
