Hi Everyone,
Monday morning my family and I woke up almost 3 inches of snow on the ground. It was beautiful! Living in Atlanta snow is not something we see much of. Occasionally, we may have a light dusting, but it's gone in no time. During the day it continued to snow, leaving us with a grand total of 6 inches. That's huge for us. Schools have been closed all week due to the icy road conditions. Even my husband had a few snow days.
I had to laugh when I saw the Clean & Simple Challenge for the day was "A Day in the Snow". I knew I had to play along. Well, here it is three days later and I'm just now getting around to posting this. It's been so nice having everyone home this week. I haven't accomplished a thing, but we've had fun.
Monday's Clean & Simple Challenge, along with other daily challenges can be found at SplitcoastStampers.
Here are a few snow pictures. The first picture I took from our front porch and the second is the view of our backyard.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheryl

Hi Everyone,
I don't know about you, but I always look forward to the New Year. For me, it's a time to unwind after the frenzy of the holidays. It's also a time to reflect, to reorganize and a time to plan. Part of my New Years planning is to revisit my goals from the previous year, and for some unknown reason I'm always compelled to add a resolution or two to the mix, as if I don't have enough commitments already.
I believe that resolutions and goals have to be managed in order to be met. That's why I thought a notebook for tracking my resolutions/goals would be the perfect project for this week's Crazy 4 Cocoa Challenge. The challenge was to create something with a New Year's resolution in mind (dieting, learning something new, etc).
I hope I've inspired you to take some time to write down your goals and resolutions along with a plan to make them a reality.
Supplies
Stamps: Sweet n' Sassy-Digital Image
Ink: None
Paper: Bo Bunny
Accessories: Copics, Vintage Lace, Spellbinders, Pearls, Staples Mini Notebook, Adirondack Paint Dabber
Happy New Year, and good luck with your New Years resolutions!
